Get Cooking!

1. Pour a drop of oil in ur kuzhipaniyaram kadai (appakadai!?). Pour in the adai batter.

2. Cook for a few minutes till it turns golden brown on a low-medium heat.

    this looks yummy!! I tried making the same version in muffin pans and it came out very well- baked at 350 for about 10-12 min. Another interesting variation I tried out was adding shredded zucchini and scallions to the mix along with some mint.

    Adai aapam looks so crispy and tasty, have tried using idli batter for this, now will start using adai maavu also.

    B: I used to use the toaster-oven and grill the batter in muffin pans or something similar with various veggie additions :) No oven or toaster-oven here :(
